You’ll have noticed that our website is looking a bit different as we’ve now gone live with the changes some of you will have been trialling over the last couple of months.
We hope you like the new design and the improved overall user experience.
Of course, it’s not only how the website looks that has changed.
We have added lots of new functionality to make your dealings with us here at TIMco much easier and enable you to do a lot more online.
Search your way
We have developed the new website with a real focus on intuitive search. There is a dynamic free text search function. When you start typing in the search area, suggestions automatically appear in a list below the search bar.
The search results are shown as SUGGESTIONS, CATEGORIES, or PRODUCTS. You also have the option to VIEW ALL products if you’re uncertain or wish to see all products available.
Larger ranges of products have filters available to narrow down your choice. You can filter by headings such as ‘pack type’, ‘length’, ‘colour’ etc
You can also do a quick search either by product name, if you already know what it’s called, or the part code if you have it to hand.
Detailed product information
Now for each product, you can read more information on details such as product features and design. You can also view real time stock information enabling you to see how many of each product is available to immediately ship from our warehouse.
Upgraded account management
When you’re logged in you’ll now see delivery costs based on the quantity you are ordering are also shown.
In addition, you can also see your order and invoice history, making it much easier to access historical information on your account and have it all in one place.
Lastly, our new website supports more than one person logging in at a time allowing for multiple users from one account being on the site at the same time.
Checkout
We’ve streamlined our checkout and payments process to make it easier and more efficient for the user. A basket quick view is now readily available when using the recently added products function.
TIMco.co.uk - always improving
Listening to you, we started the process of updating our website in 2018 to make it easier for you to order with us online. Since then we have been trialling the new website with customers in different regions of the UK. The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive. Thanks to the feedback from the trials, we are now happy to go live with this vastly enhanced site, on the functionality but also the content and look and feel.
